The conference is an interdisciplinary scientific forum for discussing issues of mathematical modelling and information technology. It presents the results of the mathematical description of biological systems related to bioinformatics, molecular and structural biology, biophysics, biomedicine, pharmacology, nanobiotechnology, as well as digital terrain analysis and computational ecology. The conference is held every two years.

Conference reports are published in the periodical online book Proceedings of the International Conference "Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics" (ISSN: 2618-9305). The books are indexed by eLIBRARY. Articles can be published in Russian or English, regardless of the language chosen by the participant for presenting the report. Each article is reviewed by the ICMBB Organizing Committee; based on the results of this review, a decision is made to accept the report for the conference and the article for inclusion in the collection.

The authors of the most interesting reports selected by the Organizing Committee will be invited to publish in an international journal "Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics".

Working languages: Russian and English.

The program of the Conference includes plenary meetings, oral and poster sessions. In the evenings the round tables, lectures and other events are planned.

The conference is held in the city of Pushchino (Moscow Region, Russia) in the Institute of Mathematical Problems of Biology, Russian Academy of Sciences.
